Scouts Rally SA utilises the innovative RallySafe system for timing, vehicle tracking and emergency service response.
Each competitor must make provision in their competition vehicle for the RallySafe GPS and tracking system.
The RallySafe system must be wired to permanent 12v power. Rally Safe wiring loom, antennas and mounting kit can be purchased for $175.00 (plus GST and postage) from the RallySafe website »
The RallySafe GPS units and tracking systems will be available at documentation at Rally HQ in Gilbert Street for SARC crews, and Mount Pleasant Service Park for interstate crews.
Any misuse of the equipment will result in the competitor being reported to the Stewards of the Meeting who may impose penalties that may go as far as exclusion.
Should a competitor retire, they must return the tracking unit to Rally HQ as soon as possible.
The tracking units may have to be removed from the rally cars at the final Parc Fermé, therefore cars should be left unlocked.
Should a competitor retire, they must return the tracking unit and associated cables to Rally HQ as soon as possible.
